Jason Cefalu, 30, with Cantor Fitzgerald, died Sept. 11, 2001, a victim of the coordinated terrorist attacks against the United States in New York, Washington DC, and elsewhere.
The middle child of three, Cefalu grew up in West Hempstead, NY and was “very attached to his family,” Darren Cefalu, his younger brother, said. “His ambitions were to be successful in business early on, so he could retire and get into politics.”
Cefalu was a member of the Young Republicans while at Hofstra University and worked on several political campaigns. Fishing was another of his passions, especially in Long Beach and Key West, Fla.
“He lived to the fullest, and always wanted more,” his brother said. Cefalu was last seen by his girlfriend of five years, Kristen Engelberger, on Tuesday morning.
I’m proud to participate in The 2996 Project. As long as this blog is alive, I will honor Jason on this day.

Thanks, Lisa.

Thank you for you tribute!
I posted one too.
Hi, I’m Kristen’s former neighbor in NYC.
Can anyone send me her email address ?
I reached her on her cell phone 2 weeks ago while visiting (I live in Paris, France now) but did not take her mail.
Thx for your help
Liva
